About Event


The second edition of Tata Steel Kapilash Half Marathon ( formerly the Tata Steel Meramandali Half Marathon) will be held on January 11, 2025 (Saturday) and feature three competitive races: a challenging 21km race, a dynamic 10km race (both open to participants aged 19 and above), and an engaging 5km race for participants aged 14 to 19.

Entry Rules & Guidelines:

Note: Only Indian Nationals are allowed to participate.

1. An applicant can apply for only one race.
2. Duplicate application of same participant will be rejected.
3. All participants must enter Holding area by 6.30 am .
4. Participants will be allotted different colour coding BIB numbers as per race category / distance.
5. Only physically sound persons can participate in it on their own risk.
6. Promoter and organisers are not responsible for any medical issues during the run

General Information

1.All participants will be intimated through SMS/Email before one week of the event regarding details of BIB and T-shirt collection and run information.
2. Please present the following document for collecting the goodie-bag at Distribution Counter:-
a. Original payment receipt for offline registration.
b. Receipt / SMS / Email of online registration.
c. In case of unavoidable circumstances, a participant can send his/her authorized representative to collect goodie-bag (BIB, Tshirt, route map, event schedule) on his/her behalf.
For group BIB collection concerned organization can send authorized representative to collect the goodie bag on behalf of the organization.

Authorized representative must carry with him/her:-

i. The website confirmation downloaded from application status on event website
ii. Photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card or Passport) of the representative and the confirmed participants.
iii. In case of group BIB collection, authorization letter from concerned organization and Photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card or passport) of the representative and the confirmed participants.

3. Birth Certificate (Matric / Municipality / Notify Area / BDO/AFI ID) should be provided on demand by the
participants on the day of Run.
4. First Aid and Drinking water will be provided by the organizer.
5. Refreshment to be collected from refreshment counter near main venue by showing the BIB .
6. All finishers will be awarded with medals at the designated medal counter at the venue.
7. After verification of final results, prize money will be transferred to the Winner’s Bank Account/ by A/c Payee Cheque.
8. Maximum 4000 participants will be registered on first come first serve basis. Registration will be closed after attaining the figure of 4000.
