• Road: Kapilash is in Dhenkanal district of Odisha, is well connected by road. Kapilash is around 18 Km from Dhenkanal town. The Dhenkanal town is around 60 km from Bhaubaneswar and 227 km from Sambalpur. One can also reach Kapilash via Bhuban/Kamakhayangar/Jajpur, which is within 60 km distance.

• Rail: The nearest railway station to Kapilash is Dhenkanal (DNKL), which comes under East Coast Railway, and is well connected through rail.
